Anime Ascendants Yuto, the Raid Burst
1-2 percent UT drop, shop evo items, Bolma plus Orwin, never Golden.
Yuto is the S+ raid-burst argument in live Anime Ascendants. Targeting is clean. The named-enemy window is the job. When a health bar needs to vanish, Yuto is the unit that actually does it. Public lobbies are still 16-player online tower defense on desktop and mobile. Teammates can cover a leak. They cannot drop this unit for you, and they cannot buy the shop piece.
Yuto is not a story chest. Yuto is not a 50-gem Secret you luck into on day one. You run the UT raid, you accept a reported 1–2% drop, and you finish the kit in the raid shop. If you are still pouring gems into a glowing portrait hoping the gacha prints “Yuto,” you are on the wrong obtainment path.
Pair this page with the raids guide before you loop the wrong queue, and lock the finished triangle in the team builder. Compare the other S+ names on Sukuno and Itochi before you park two mythic traits on two unfinished bodies.
What the kit actually does
Unevolved Yuto is already a burst body. Evolved Yuto is the raid job. The kit is built to delete a named enemy in a window, not to paint a wide pad with splash. Trash waves still die if the path is a corridor. Fan-out maps still want a full-AoE partner such as Shonks. That is a placement match, not a reason the S+ row is wrong.
Late upgrades matter. A rank-one Yuto is not the clip you saw. Cash has to exist, which is why this page will not shut up about Bolma. Raid bosses are sponges; the burst only looks unfair after the tree is paid and the unit is on the board before the named enemy, not as a panic plant at 20% hull.
Shiny coats wait until account level 5 and they are not a tier. An evolved non-shiny Yuto with a real trait still outruns a sparkly starter. Do not freeze the UT raid to hunt a skin.
How to get Yuto (the only honest route)
- Rush story until raids are in play. The UT raid is not a tutorial node. Routing lives on story mode.
- Queue the UT raid with a farm on wave 1 and a carry that can actually hold the act. You do not need Yuto to farm Yuto; you need a board that does not leak the first shield.
- Accept the reported 1–2% drop. A night with zero drops is still a night of Magic Tokens and shop currency. It is not a sign the unit moved to the 50-gem banner.
- Buy the evolution items in the raid shop. Payment is raid currency or Love tokens depending on the live row. Skipping the shop is how people sit on an unfinished kit.
- Evolve Yuto. The button is the spike. The standard banner is not.
Yuto is not vendor trash while you wait on the shop piece. Raise it enough that the unit survives the farm. You do not need a perfect trait on the base form. You do need the shop item before you call the line finished.
If you cannot clear the UT raid yet, keep a temporary carry (Free Ren, Shonks, Hosoko, Touci, or evolved Sukuno if that farm is already done) and come back. Do not park Ascendant on a unit you have not dropped. The best units page is the rest of the carry manual if Yuto is still a week of 1–2% away.
Trait: Ascendant or Singularity, not Golden
Ascendant (one placement, personal stats plus a global buff) is the trait you want on this nuke. Singularity is the personal-damage alternative with the same one-placement tax. Stop on either. Do not “try for the other one” until the rest of the squad is playable.
Golden does not belong here. Golden is the farm trait: damage plus money, which is Bolma’s job. Putting Golden on Yuto turns your S+ raid burst into a confused farmer and leaves the actual farmer on a worse roll. Putting Ascendant on Bolma is the matching mistake in the other direction.
Because Ascendant and Singularity cap placements at one, the first tile you confirm is the tile you live with. Preview the range on the longest path or the boss stack. In a 16-player public, do not drop the one-place carry on a pocket someone else already filled.
Secondary boss traits (Berserker, Slayer) are acceptable on a second carry, not as an excuse to skip the mythic roll on Yuto once tokens exist. Range I on this unit is a reroll, not a keep. Miki is to the right in the Summon room; how to reroll traits is the token sheet.
Pair with Bolma and Orwin
Yuto does not replace the economy. A lobby with three Yuto clones and no farmer still starves, and the burst never reaches the last rank before the named enemy. The default raid triangle is:
- Carry: Yuto on the boss path, Ascendant or Singularity.
- Support: Orwin, aura overlapping that path. Supernova if you have it. Do not put the one-place mythic on the buffer.
- Farm: Bolma on wave 1 (Senko until Bolma drops), Golden.
Place farm first, then Orwin where the packet touches the future carry tile, then Yuto. Upgrade farm until income is a slope, then dump into Yuto. By the named-enemy window the burst should be the unit doing the work. Extra C-tier bodies on the grass steal cash from the tree that makes raid HP look fair.
Charmi-style money amps, if you own them, sit next to Bolma. They are not a second Yuto. Farm and support is the economy chapter.
When to pick Yuto versus Sukuno versus Itochi
You do not need all three S+ names. You need one that you actually dropped, evolved, and traited.
Pick Yuto when the content is a named-enemy raid window and you can stomach a 1–2% drop plus a shop farm. Burst is the job. UT raid is the door.
Pick Sukuno when you want a line-AoE nuke that scales through raid parades and deep infinite, and you can run Cursed Academy. Sukuno is an evolution from Itadoki, not a raid roll. Details on the Sukuno guide.
Pick Itochi when you need a hybrid: damage plus burn, with line coverage on the last evolution upgrade, and the Itochi event shop is actually open. Off-window, do not invent a standard-banner rate. Details on the Itochi guide.
If two of those names are already in the index, trait the one you place on the current queue. A Golden Yuto plus an unevolved Sukuno is two mistakes wearing an S+ costume. Confirm the live row on the units tier list.
Crystal stones, duplicates, and Magic Tokens that could finish Yuto should not go to Niruto Kid, Goko, or Luffo. Those starters have no raid ceiling. Feed order when the shop currency is scarce: buy the evo row → Golden the farm → trait the nuke → Supernova the support. Reverse that order and you own a pretty drop and a broke raid.
Yuto is the S+ raid burst you farm from the UT raid at about 1–2%, then finish in the raid shop with raid or Love tokens. It is not a story drop and it is not a 50-gem Secret. Plant it with Bolma and Orwin, put Ascendant or Singularity on the carry — never Golden — and pick it over Sukuno or Itochi only when the job is a named-enemy window you can actually farm this week.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, traits, summons, and story progress.
How do I get Yuto?
Run the UT raid. Reported drop chance is about 1–2%. Buy the evolution items in the raid shop with raid or Love tokens. Routing is on the raids guide.
Is Yuto a story drop or a 50-gem Secret?
Neither. It is a raid drop. Do not wait on a story chest and do not dump gems into a banner that does not list Yuto.
What trait should I put on Yuto?
Ascendant or Singularity. Both are one-placement DPS traits. Do not put Golden on Yuto; Golden belongs on Bolma.
Who do I pair with Yuto?
Bolma (Golden) on wave 1 and Orwin’s aura on the carry tile. Lock that triangle in the team builder.
Should I raise Yuto or Sukuno first?
Raise the one whose farm you can actually run this week. Yuto is UT raid plus shop. Sukuno is Cursed Academy evolution. Compare kits on Sukuno and best units.
When is Itochi the better S+ pick?
When you need burn plus damage and the Itochi event shop is open. Off-window, do not invent a banner rate. See the Itochi guide.
