Anime Ascendants (the live Roblox tower defense formerly called Special Anime Defense) still drops promo codes after updates, apology patches, and holiday events. This hub lists strings that community sites reported as working in early September 2026. We did not sit in a live server and punch every code today, so treat the table as a reported snapshot, not a personal test log. Copy a string, redeem it in the lobby, and if it fails, assume it expired or you already claimed it.
Codes are case-sensitive. Extra spaces, a missing exclamation mark, or a stray hashtag will fail even when the rest of the letters are right. A few codes also gate behind account level 3. If you just spawned in the 16-player lobby, finish a couple of easy story mode maps first, then come back.

Both portal apology strings are live-client rewards, not the same code. SORRY4PORTALBUG pays Tokens and Grief Seeds. SORRY4PORTALHPBUG pays Tokens and Gems. Paste each once. A missing P (SORRY4PORTALHBUG) fails even when the rest of the letters are right.
If a toast says the code is invalid, try it once more with no leading space. Then stop. Repeating a dead code will not un-expire it. Fresh strings almost always land in the official Discord before they hit random YouTube thumbnails, so that channel is the first place to look after a patch.
What each reward is actually for
Gems are the summon currency. Dumping a 10k gem code into banner pulls is the usual play when you still lack a real carry. Coins pay placements, upgrades, and the early economy on a map, which matters more than it looks if you are still learning getting started routing. Magic Tokens feed the other gacha lane; they are worse to waste on curiosity pulls than gems because the token codes are smaller.
Trait Rerolls are the scarce resource. One hundred twenty-five rerolls from a blueberry code can rebuild a carry if you already own the unit. Do not spray them across every Epic in the inventory. Park them for the unit you actually place on legend and infinite, then open the trait planner before you spin. Stat Cubes and Perfect Stat Cubes nudge unit stats; Perfect Cubes are the ones worth saving for a keeper instead of a temporary farm tower.
Happy4th is the messy row. Several September lists print 15,000 Gems and 150 Trait Rerolls. At least one prints 5,000 Gems with the same 150 rerolls. That is a listing conflict, not two different codes. Redeem once. The in-game toast is the source of truth for your account. Do not keep retrying hoping the larger number appears.
Level 3 gates and why new accounts bounce
BLUEBERRY! and BLAMEHORIZONAOE are the two rows community sites flag as level 3. Some lists also gate SORRY4PORTALHPBUG at level 4. A brand-new account that walks to the Naruto Codes NPC and pastes them will often get a level error instead of gems. The fastest fix is not a private server trick. Play the early story acts, place a cheap farm unit, and let the XP land. Level 3 is a short session on desktop or mobile, not an endgame grind.
If every code fails, including ungated ones, you are usually looking at an expired string, a typo, or a code you already claimed on that Roblox account. Codes are per account, not per file. Switching devices does not reset them.
How to redeem in the lobby
Two methods exist and both work on the current live place (Roblox experience 15601725874), including the 16-player public servers.
Codes NPC. Spawn in the lobby. Walk toward the Naruto figure standing in a ring under a Codes sign. Step into the ring. A Type Code Here field opens. Paste the string and press Redeem. On a successful claim the UI shakes and a reward notice lists what you got.
Codes button. Look at the bottom-right (some layouts pin it on the right edge). Tap Codes, paste, Redeem. This is the faster path on mobile because you do not have to camera-hunt the NPC while the lobby is full.

What to spend first after a big redeem
A blueberry-sized dump looks like a license to roll everything. It is not. Sequence it:
- Confirm the toast and check Gems, Coins, Tokens, Cubes, and Trait Rerolls in the lobby currencies.
- If you still lack a story-capable DPS, spend Gems on the current banner instead of cosmetics.
- Hold Trait Rerolls until you know which unit is your placed carry. How to reroll traits and the traits tier list exist so you do not burn 125 spins on a farm unit.
- Save Perfect Stat Cubes for that same keeper. Normal Stat Cubes can go on a farm or buffer you already trust.
- Coins are the boring win. They let you place and upgrade on the next map without stalling wave 1.

Where new codes come from (and where they do not)
The staff still posts codes around updates, delayed patches, and milestone bursts. The reliable feed is the official Discord. Updates on this wiki tracks the patch context so you know why a string like AscDropUpdateBro even exists.
The old Trello board at the Special Anime Defense URL is stale. It has not been a live code source since the 2024 rework. Do not treat a 2024 Trello card as a working code. If you want the bookmark anyway, the Trello page explains what is outdated.
YouTube videos are useful for the redeem click path and useless as an archive. A video titled with last month’s date will still show RELEASE and 10mil on screen. Those belong in expired codes. Bookmark this hub and the Discord; do not bookmark a random codes compilation from 2025.
Desktop, mobile, and server size
Anime Ascendants is live on Roblox for desktop and mobile. Public matches cap at 16 players. Codes are account-wide, so redeeming on a phone in the lobby is enough. You do not need to enter a match. You do not need a private server. If a brand-new code fails on an old server, leave to Roblox home, rejoin the experience, and try once more. Developers sometimes push codes without recycling every lobby.
Group page for the live game is Anime Ascendants (community 15762744). That is the group to verify you are in the right experience, not a copycat place with a similar anime-TD thumbnail.
When you are done claiming, jump back into progression: getting started if you are new, best units if you just pulled something expensive, or events if a limited banner is why the code dropped in the first place.
